1 Thessalonians 2:3

For our exhortation was not from deceit, nor from uncleanness, nor from guile;
For our exhortation is not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:
For our appeal does not come from delusion or impure motives, nor [is it motivated] by deceit [our message is complete, accurate, and based on the truth—it does not change].
For our appeal [in preaching] does not [originate] from delusion or error or impure purpose or motive, nor in fraud or deceit.
For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:
For our exhortation didn’t come from error or impurity or an intent to deceive.
Our appeal isn’t based on false information, the wrong motives, or deception.
For the appeal we make does not flow from error or from impure motives, neither do we try to trick people.
We didn't have any hidden motives when we won you over, and we didn't try to fool or trick anyone.
For our exhortation [was] not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile;
For our exhortation is not from error, nor from impurity, nor in deceit.
For our exhortation was not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in deceit:
When we encourage people to believe the Good News, it’s not out of wrong motives. We are not trying to trick or fool anyone.
When we tell people to obey God's message, we are not saying anything that is not true. We do not have a wrong purpose. We are not trying to deceive anyone.
For our appeal does not come from error or impure motives, or by way of deceit.
For our appeal does not spring from error or impurity or any attempt to deceive,
For our appeal does not spring from error or impurity or any attempt to deceive,
[L For] Our ·appeal [encouragement; exhortation] does not come from ·lies [error] or ·wrong reasons [false motives; L impurity], nor ·were we trying to trick you [with guile/deceit].
For our exhortation was not by deceit, nor by uncleanness, nor by guile.
When we encouraged you, we didn’t use unethical schemes, corrupt practices, or deception.
Our appeal to you is not based on error or impure motives, nor do we try to trick anyone.
For our exhortation didn’t come from error or impurity or an intent to deceive.
Our message was a message to encourage you. We were not trying to lie. We had no evil plan. We were not trying to trick you.
For our appeal to you does not spring from deceit, impure motives, or trickery.
Our message to you is true, our motives are pure, our conduct is absolutely above board. We speak under the solemn sense of being trusted by God with the Gospel. We do not aim to please men, but to please God who knows us through and through. No one could ever say, as again you know, that we used flattery to conceal greedy motives, and God himself is witness to our honesty. We made no attempt to win honour from men, either from you or from anybody else, though I suppose as Christ’s own messengers we might have done so. Our attitude among you was one of tenderness, rather like that of a devoted nurse among her babies. Because we loved you, it was a joy to us to give you not only the Gospel of God but our very hearts—so dear did you become to us. Our struggles and hard work, my brothers, must still be fresh in your minds. Day and night we worked so that our preaching of the Gospel to you might not cost you a penny. You are witnesses, as is God himself, that our life among you believers was honest, straightforward and above criticism. You will remember how we dealt with each one of you personally, like a father with his own children, stimulating your faith and courage and giving you instruction. Our only object was to help you to live lives worthy of the God who has called you to share the splendour of his kingdom.
For our exhortation was not of error nor of uncleanness nor in guile,
For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:
For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:
For our exhortation does not come from error or impurity or by way of deceit;
For our exhortation is not from error or from impurity or with deceit,
So you can see that we were not preaching with any false motives or evil purposes in mind; we were perfectly straightforward and sincere.
God tested us thoroughly to make sure we were qualified to be trusted with this Message. Be assured that when we speak to you we’re not after crowd approval—only God approval. Since we’ve been put through that battery of tests, you’re guaranteed that both we and the Message are free of error, mixed motives, or hidden agendas. We never used words to butter you up. No one knows that better than you. And God knows we never used words as a smoke screen to take advantage of you.
For our exhortation was not from deceit, nor from uncleanness, nor in guile.
· For our appeal was not based on deceit, nor did it rise from impure motives or by way of trickery,
When we encouraged you, we didn’t use unethical schemes, corrupt practices, or deception.
Our exhortation was not from delusion or impure motives, nor did it work through deception.
For our exhortation does not come from error or impurity or by way of deceit;
For our exhortation does not come from error or impurity or by way of deceit;
The exhortation we impart does not spring from deceit or impure motives or trickery.
Our appeal does not come from lies or wrong reasons, nor were we trying to trick you.
For the appeal we make does not come from error or impurity or with deceit,
The appeal we make is based on truth. It comes from a pure heart. We are not trying to trick you.
For the appeal we make does not spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you.
For the appeal we make does not spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you.
For our exhortation did not come from error or uncleanness, nor was it in deceit.
You remember what we said to you was true. We had no wrong desire in teaching you. We did not try to fool you.
So you can see we were not preaching with any deceit or impure motives or trickery.
Our exhortation was not to bring you to error, nor yet to uncleanness. Neither was it with guile,
For our appeal does not spring from deceit or impure motives or trickery,
For our appeal does not spring from deceit or impure motives or trickery,
For our appeal does not spring from deceit or impure motives or trickery,
For our appeal does not spring from deceit or impure motives or trickery,
When we make our appeal, you see, we are not deceiving people. We don’t have any impure motives; we aren’t playing some kind of trick.
For our appeal, our eidus (witness of testimony), does not spring from toyus (error) or meshuga delusion or from tum’a (uncleanness) or from remiyah (guile, deceit).
For our encouragement was not in error, nor of impurity, nor by deceit.
For our appeal does not spring from error or uncleanness, nor is it made with guile;
For our appeal does not spring from error or uncleanness, nor is it made with guile;
For our urging is not out of deceit or impure motives or trickery.
For we haven’t approached you—or anyone else for that matter—with some error or impure motives or deceitful agenda;
For our exhortation is not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in deception.
Our message was not a lie. What we told you was not wrong. And we did not try to fool you.
And our exhortation is not of error [Soothly our exhortation, or teaching, was not of error], neither of uncleanness, neither in guile,
for our exhortation [is] not out of deceit, nor out of uncleanness, nor in guile,
